MOISTURIZE WITH AN EYE CREAM
Lack of moisture can increase the appearance of fine lines around the eyes. Look for moisturizers rich in ingredients that promote the circulation and growth of new cells. Retinol (a derivative of vitamin A), peptides and hyaluronic acid are all supported by research and beauticians.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SUN EXPOSURE – USE SUNBLOCK AND A HAT
You can help prevent the formation of fine lines by protecting your skin from UV rays. Always wear at least 30 SPF when venturing outside, even if it is not particularly sunny.
When you sunbathe for hours at a time, consider protecting your eyes with a hat and wearing sunglasses. On-board hats and visors are an added bonus for your eyes: they prevent you from squinting, which can create wrinkles when repeated often enough.
Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Vitamin E are frequently used in skincare products. By incorporating foods rich in these vitamins into your diet, you will help your skin (and the rest of your body) to form new healthy cells. Some researchers believe that there is a strong link between a healthy diet and firm, younger-looking skin. Consider colorful citrus fruits, carrots and pumpkins to increase the amount of these vitamins in your diet.
